Almost Uncirculated Mexico silver 8 reales coin.
Struck for King Ferdinand VII at the Zacatecas Mint (mint mark Zs), assayer RG.
Used to pay Royalist Army forces during the War of Independence.

Exceptionally well struck, lightly toned with lustrous surfaces, very nice in hand.
